Optimise for a new joiner following it unaided. Exact commands, exact URLs, no assumed context.
Anything about what data may go into a model belongs in Governance; link to it rather than restating the rules here.
Planned onboarding flow
Section titled “Planned onboarding flow”Not built yet, recorded so the written guide is designed around it rather than retrofitted:
- A GitHub group for AI Engineering is created.
- Being added to that group is the trigger. It grants access and starts onboarding in one step, so there is no separate request form to keep in sync.
- A Slack bot contacts the new member in
#ai-engineering-platformand walks them through onboarding.
What the bot says and what this page documents must not drift apart. Whichever is authoritative, the other links to it rather than restating the steps.
